What They're Saying

“I was in my mid-thirties when I realized my father was a mystery to me. He was getting older, and I desperately wanted to find a way to record his memories and wisdom to share with my children someday. I searched for months before I came across Forevernote. I wish that I’d found them sooner! My father enjoyed his interview so much that we ended up purchasing additional time. The entire process was convenient, and the finished product was mesmerising. My daughters love hearing stories about my dad’s childhood.”

-Thomas G.

“When my 94 year old grandmother passed away, I had a lot of regrets about not sitting her down and asking her what life was like when she was younger. I didn’t want my grandkids to have the same regrets so I worked with Forevernote to record all of my best recipes, and a little advice, so that my grandkids always have my love and guidance, no matter what.”

-Jeannette B.

“When I first signed up, I had no idea what I was going to talk about, but their writers helped me put my life into perspective. Talking to them made me realize just how much I’d accomplished and how much life was left to live.”

-Maxine S.

How It Works

We’ve designed a simple process that allows anyone to have a professionally edited and designed book that they can share with family and friends.

  1. Purchase an affordable package for your loved one.
  2. We call them for a 1-on-1 interview. We then edit and design their Forevernote, and they will review and revise drafts before approving their book for print.
  3. We print and send their Forevernote which includes audio from the interview and a digital copy of the book to share with loved ones.

Not sure where to start?

  • Ask your parents to document the meaning behind your favorite family traditions.
  • Learn more about your loved one’s early years and have them tell you how they met their best friends.
  • When you were growing up, you might have collected Pogs, ask your dad what fads he explored as a teenager.
  • Some people know what they want to do from a very young age, some don’t. Ask your mom to tell you how she chose her line of work.
  • Is your dad retiring soon? Give him a chance to reflect on his storied career and ask him to share a few of his career highlights.
  • Discover a side of your mom you never knew. Have her tell the wildest, craziest thing she’s ever done.
