First, we’ll reach out to the storyteller via email to send an onboarding questionnaire and arrange a Welcome Call. During the Welcome Call, we will get to know the storyteller and help them spark forgotten memories by creating an outline of their biographies. At the end of that call, we’ll find a convenient time for their 1-on-1 personal phone interview.
We’ll record and edit their story for review.
We'll record their phone interview where our biographer will help them bring their story to life in detail. After we transcribe and proofread the interview, the storyteller can edit the text using our self-editing tool. The option to add professional editing services is available at any time by contacting us directly. The storyteller will also have the opportunity to upload any photos they want to include in the book and cover. Once they are satisfied with the story, and have uploaded photos, our design team will create a beautiful book for them to share with their loved ones.
Receive audio and digital copies to share.
Once their text is approved, we will send a digital pdf version of the book, along with the audio from the interview. If your gift includes hardcover books, we'll send the final draft to our printers. Once complete, we'll mail the books to the provided shipping address.
